Do a Poker Chip Trick : Shuffle
Do a Poker Chip Trick : Shuffle

In this article you will learn how to do a professional looking chip trick: the chip shuffle.

Difficulty: Moderate
Instructions

Things You'll Need:

  1. Step 1

Start out with eight poker chips (preferably casino weight.) Divide the chips into two stacks of four. Place the stacks side by side.

  2. Step 2

Position you hand over the 2 stacks, palm down. If using your right hand, place the tips of your index and middle fingers on the left side of the left stack. Place the tip of your ring finger on the top side of the right stack and your pinky finger on the right side of the right stack.

  3. Step 3

Place your thumb on the bottom side of the right stack. Using mostly your thumb, lift the left side of the right stack slightly. Use your fingers to begin to push the two stacks together. Using your thumb and fingers on the right stack, slide up each chip in order to create the spaces for the chips in the left stack to shuffle into.

  4. Step 4

As the two steps shuffle into each other from bottom to top, push them into one stack.

Tips & Warnings
  • Practice makes perfect so keep at it!
  • It is easier to learn this trick on a semi-soft surface such as the felt of a poker table or carpet.
