Instructions

Things You'll Need:

  • grass and weed killer
  • lawn seed (clover)
  1. Step 1

The first thing you need to do is decide what lawn type you want. Clover lawns are the best alternative to grass lawns. Clover lawns grow green and stay green all year.

  2. Step 2

Next, spray your yard with weed and grass killer like roundup. It may take a couple of days until the grass and weeds are completely dead.

  3. Step 3

Lastly, get lawn seed (clover) from a garden center you just need enough seed to lightly cover your lawn. Clovers grow fast so you do not need to spread them equal. The clover will kill the rest of your grass and weeds and does not need to be fertilized. When you are done, you will have a green lawn that does not need maintenance.
