If you want smoother, softer, younger looking skin (hey, who doesn't!) then you've probably tried all the pricey miracle creams. I have a simple and cheap alternative and you don't need to look any further than your kitchen cupboard. That’s right, you already have this simple and inexpensive secret ingredient to more youthful looking skin. Read on for more!

Difficulty: Easy
Instructions

Things You'll Need:

  • white granulated sugar
  1. Step 1

The secret to smoother, softer younger looking skin is . . . sugar! That’s right, plain old white granulated sugar. Sugar is perfect for exfoliating your skin. It gently (and sweetly) buffs your skin removing the dry dead skin cells and revealing the smoother, softer, younger looking skin underneath. So, get yourself some sugar to get one step closer to a more youthful looking you. If you are keeping it your bathroom make sure to keep it in an airtight container to keep the moisture out otherwise it gets all clumpy.

  2. Step 2

You will want to use the sugar as an exfoliate not a cleaner so start with a clean face. Wet your face and put a small amount of sugar onto your fingertips.

  3. Step 3

Rub your entire face in small circular motions. Don't scrub too hard. Just a nice gentle scrub and be careful around your eyes. Repeat a few times a weeks for glowing skin.
