Summer is here and what better way to enjoy it than a nice campfire to gather around. This tasty treat will be a sure crowd pleaser and leave your friends begging for more.

Difficulty: Moderately Easy
Instructions
  1. Step 1

Start out by purchasing several dowel rods at your local craft store or home improvement store. You will want your rods to be about as big as your pinky in diameter.

  2. Step 2

Grab some cans of biscuits at the grocery store. You can choose whatever brand you like with however many biscuits you want in the can.

  3. Step 3

Twist the biscuit onto the dowel rod by starting at the top. Pinch the dough onto the stick and then twist the dough down the rod. As you twist, don't leave any space between the dough.

  4. Step 4

Roast your biscuit dough over the fire for between three to five minutes. Be careful not to get the dough in the direct flames as it will burn. When your biscuit is slightly puffy and golden brown, remove from the fire.

  5. Step 5

Brush on melted butter with a cooking brush. Roll your biscuit in cinnamon sugar and enjoy! These Dough Boys taste like a donut or an elephant ear you would get from a fair.

Tips & Warnings
  • A good way to know when your Dough Boy is done, is to lightly twist to get it off of the dowel rod. If it comes off easily, it is done.
  • Never leave children unattended by a fire.
  • Never use treated wood on a fire that you will be cooking over.
