If you are home shopping and want to find the best deals on a home then a foreclosure may be the choice for you. Although a foreclosed home will save you money they are not always easy to find.

Difficulty: Moderate
Instructions
  1. Step 1

The first first place you can go to find foreclosed homes is to a banker. Almost any bank you go to will have a list of foreclosed homes they are trying to sell for discounted prices you would pay otherwise. Although theses deals are lower priced you still need to physically see the inside and outside of the residence you are interested in purchasing.

  2. Step 2

Another place to look for foreclosed homes is through a real estate company. Although they may not have a long list of homes they will still some homes available for you to look at.

  3. Step 3

If you want an extensive list of foreclosed homes go to your local tax office in the court house. Some court house may have the foreclosed homes posted on a bulletin board. If in doubt just ask someone where the list of foreclosed homes is located in your court house. When you do find the list you will find a wide variety of homes with addresses being foreclosed in your town. You will also find dates where the homes will be auctioned off at the court house. At these auctions you can purchase homes free and clear for dirt cheap prices.
