Make sure that you do not void the warranty on your Xbox 360. Do not take your Xbox 360 apart or modify the system in any way or you will void the warranty. If the warranty on your Xbox 360 is already voided, you cannot send the system to Microsoft to be repaired.

Look online for Xbox 360 customer support's phone number. Call the customer support and go through the automated system following instructions until you speak to an Xbox 360 customer support representative.

Let the representative know your problem and give them all of the information off of your Xbox 360 that they ask for. Once you have given them all the information, they will send you a box in the mail that you will use to send your Xbox 360 to Microsoft.
