Things You'll Need:
- 2 Kool-Aid packets - Any Flavor
- Water
- Mixing Spoon
- 2 Quart Pitcher
- Popsicle Tray OR
- Ice cube tray
- Tooth Picks or Popsicle sticks
- Plastic Warp
-
Step 1
Pour both Kool-Aid packets, any flavor you wish, into the 2 Quart pitcher.
If you need more than 2 Quarts of Popsicles, Use 2 Packets of Kool-Aid per 2 Quarts. This will help to maintain the flavor after freezing. -
Step 2
Add water to the pitcher with the Kool-Aid mix up to the two Quart level.
Stir until the Kool-Aid mix is dissolved. -
Step 3
Fill the Popsicle tray 3/4 full with the Kool-Aid. Remember the Kool-Aid will expand when frozen and will finish the other 1/4 of the Popsicle tray. Insert the tops with sticking onto the Popsicle Tray
OR
Fill ice cube tray 3/4 full. Cover the ice cube tray with plastic wrap. Poke a hold trough the plastic wrap with the tooth picks or Popsicle sticks. Each tooth pick should be in the middle of each ice cube Popsicle. -
Step 4
Freeze the Popsicles for about four hours or until frozen solid.
When removing the Popsicles from the tray, you can dip the tray into warm water to make the Popsicle easier to remove.

on 7/10/2009 Not a bad suggestion. I remade the Popsicles with concentrated fruit juice and only add 3/4 of the suggested water. Came out great. Thanks for giving me the idea. Also if you don't like the tooth picks, you could buy Popsicles sticks at your local store, then just cut a small slit in the Plastic wrap to place the Popsicle stick in.

on 7/10/2009 Toothpicks are good but just too dangerous for the little ones. Maybe snapping the popsicle sticks and then sanding the edge down and washing and drying them before use might be better. I've made them with fruit juice too which is yummy and healthy. 5*
