Things You'll Need:
- Coordinating linen dish towels
- tacks
- optional: small mountable curtain rods in place of tacks
-
Step 1
www.kitchenphoto.comFirst, remove the glass carefully. There should be small pieces that hold your glass to the door that are tightened by small screws. Loosen the screws, slide the holding pieces and remove the glass.
-
Step 2
www.rbcrafts.orgWash and dry the dish towel you prefer to match your kitchen decor. You can choose a solid color, stripes, or even embroider on one yourself. There are so many varieties of towels. Thrift stores may even have older versions with interesting designs.
-
Step 3
Open you cupboard door and tack the towel into the back of the door so the towel shows through in place of the glass. You can also use the optional curtain rods if you are able to locate small enough ones. Otherwise, the tacks and the towel will be very inexpensive.
