You can also save money on furniture by using cashback sites. Cashback sites pay you a certain percentage of your total purchase if you click on a link through their website. The most reliable and highest paying one I have found is Ebates. I have included a link in the resource section to sign up.

Next, check online classifieds. The best place to begin searching is Craigslist.org. You can find local furniture at a deep discount. These are usually people that are moving or just want to sell their old furniture without listing it in the paper.

Try websites that sell furniture lines that are discontinued. One website is Overstock.com. They buy furniture in bulk and sell it a cheap price. Furniture on this site is usually brand new and shipping is usually pretty cheap on this site.
