How to Make a Spirit Day Shirt Using Glitter Glue
Display your school, team or club spirit on your sleeve, your back and all over your shirt. You can make a spirit day shirt using glitter glue to write the name of your school, team or club, even add a drawing of a team mascot. Plan the items and colors that you want on the shirt. Get together with a group of your friends or classmates and make a shirt to be proud of for spirit day.

Making the Shirt

Prewash the shirt and dry it according to garment instructions.

Cover a piece of cardboard with freezer paper, coated side out, and tape in place.

Lightly draw the design you want onto the shirt with a pen or pencil.

Place the piece of cardboard inside of the shirt. This will keep the glue from going through the shirt and marking up the back side.

Trace the design with the fabric glitter glue tube or dauber for one colored section at a time.

Shake fabric glitter onto the glue. Let set according to manufacturer's directions. Shake excess glitter onto a piece of white paper. Carefully pour back into container. Move on to the next color.

Let the shirt dry thoroughly. Repeat process on the back of the shirt.
