How to Install Turbo C

With websites growing in popularity, it is more vital for a business to showcase its skills and what it has to offer on the Internet. Turbo C is a free download from Embarcadero that gives users the ability to create plug-ins and applications that will work and run inside of an Internet browser without crashing it. It also helps find breaks and leaks within the site's codes, which allows a user to fix it and make the application run smoother.

Instructions

1. Go to the Turbo C website and click the "Download" button next to your desired language.

2. Click "Agree" when the "Export Restrictions" window comes up. You will not be allowed to download Turbo C without agreeing. It is a large file so it will take a while to download.

3. Fill in your information in the "Sign-in" page. You will not be allowed to install the software without completing the form. You will be emailed an activation code for the software.

4. Double click the newly downloaded file. It will appear in a "Downloads" window or as an icon on the desktop.

5. Click "OK," then "Run" when asked if you want to run the program.

6. Click "Next" when shown the "Save Files to Folder Location." You can change the location if you want by clicking "Change," then typing your desired location. The default location is recommended.

7. Click "Install" when shown the required programs needed to run Turbo C. If you do not have some of the programs needed, click their names and you will be taken to their site where they can be downloaded free.

8. Click "Install Borland Turbo C" when the new installation wizard appears.

9. Click "Install" and Turbo C will begin to install. If you don't have all the current programs displayed on the previous screen, you will not be allowed to install Turbo C.

10. Click "Finish" when informed of Turbo C's installation being completed.
