1
Choose realistic silk flowers that fit the atmosphere of the office and the time of year. Hold a selection in your hand until you have a large amount of stems that you need for the arrangement.
-
2
Purchase a vase, compact square, oval or round container that will that take little table or shelf space. It must have a sturdy bottom that will keep it from tipping over easily in a busy environment.
-
-
3
Cut a piece of Sahara dry foam that will fit into the container. Use floral foam adhesive to secure the foam to the interior bottom of the container.
-
4
Cut floral stems with the wire cutters and begin placing them into the foam. Determine the height of the arrangement and place the tallest flower in the center of the foam.
-
5
Measure with a ruler to make sure that the height from the bottom of the container to the top of the floral stem will work in the display area. For example, if the floral piece is to be set on a shelf inside a bookcase it should be under eight inches tall. A reception area display can easily be four feet tall.
-
6
Set one or two more of the same type of flower stem at different angles from the first stem.
-
7
Cut stems at different heights and place them in the foam. Continue adding in smaller flowers to fill in the arrangement.
