How to Make Neopets Petpages

Neopets is an online game in which you can raise and take care of up to four virtual pets. You are responsible for feeding them, grooming them and caring for them when they are sick. Each neopet has its own petpage, a web page you can create using HTML. These instructions will help you create your own petpages.

Instructions

1. Access the Neopets homepage and log in with your account user name and password.

2. Click the picture of your active pet on the left hand side of the screen. This will bring up four small pictures of your pets.

3. Click the arrow next to the picture of the pet whose page you would like to create and select the option that says "Edit Homepage."

4. Erase all the pre-made HTML and text in the interface to begin working on the page.

5. Read the codes at the top of the page. These are special codes that you can type into the HTML of your petpage interface to create certain results. For instance, typing #NAME will display your pet's name.

6. Add other HTML such as background images, text and graphics to your page. These can be found on the Internet.

7. Click the "Preview Changes" button at the bottom of the page when you are finished. If everything looks OK, finish the petpage by clicking "Save Changes."

8. Click the word "here" under your pet's picture to view your petpage.

Tips & Warnings

• Be sure to follow the Neopets rules when creating your petpage. Don't use bad language or your account could be frozen.
