How to Set Ringtones on a Sidekick

The Sidekick is a powerful personal communication device that can surf the Web, exchange e-mail and take photos. It's also a phone, of course, and like most mobile phones, the ringtone can be changed to suit your preferences. Setting the ringtone on a Sidekick only takes a few seconds.

Instructions

1. Open the Sidekick to the "Jump" screen. Use the directional pad to highlight the "Phone" icon and click on it.

2. Press the "Menu" key, which is just above and to the right of the directional pad. It has three horizontal lines on it.

3. Use the directional pad to scroll down to and click "Settings."

4. Click "General."

5. Scroll to and click "Incoming phone call ring."

6. Scroll to "Tone" and click it.

7. Browse through the list of tones using the directional pad. Stop on the one you want to set.

8. Click the "Done" button in the bottom right corner. The symbol on this button looks like an arrow shaped like a check mark.
