How to Create a Simpson Avatar

Avatars are photos or images you can use on certain websites to represent yourself. You can use self-portraits or an image of anything that you'd like. They are most commonly used in forums and instant messaging services. If you're a fan of The Simpsons TV show, there's an online avatar maker that turns a photo of your face into a Simpsons character.

Things You'll Need

• Color photo of yourself (minimum size of 640 x 480 pixels)

Instructions

1. Visit www.simpsonizeme.com and click the "Simpsonize Yourself!" button to get started.

2. Upload a photo. The photo needs to be a close-up of your face. It will work best if it is has a lot of contrast and should be in color, not black and white. If the photo is too dark or black and white, it won't work.

3. Choose the basic physical attributes. These include: age, sex, clothing style, the Simpson color you want to be and the kind of hair you'd like.

4. Click "Simpsonize Me!" and wait for your Simpsons avatar to appear. It can take a few minutes. If it doesn't work, be sure you followed the photo upload guidelines.

5. Choose the more detailed physical attributes. These include: face, hairstyles, body type and accessories.

6. Send or save your avatar. You can create an account and save it, or you can send the avatar as an email. At this time, you also can create custom gear featuring the Simpsons avatar you created.
