How to Split MPG Files

Splitting MPEG files serves many applications, such as video editing, emailing videos, and spanning a video across several discs for burning. • Easy Video Splitter software

1. Download and install Easy Video Splitter. (See Resources for the download location.)

2. Launch Easy Video Splitter from its installed location.

3. Click the folder icon to the right of the "Source File" text box and select the MPEG file you wish to split.

4. Click the "Split the Source File Manually" radio button in the middle right portion of the program window.

5. Select how you would like the video split and the size of each part. You may choose to split it in either megabytes, seconds or number of clips.

6. Click the "Split Button" to begin the splitting process. A progress bar will inform you as the process completes.
