Neopets is an interactive online community that centers around user-created characters called Neopets. Users can explore the world of Neopia, complete quests and earn points to spend in the Neopian Plaza, Neopian Bazaar and invest in the Neopian stock market. Visit Coltzan's Shrine in Neopia. If you visit Coltzan's Shire every two hours during the day you can get food, Neopoints and Battledome equipment to help raise the level of your Neopet. Sometimes Coltzan may award you nothing, not to worry, just visit again in another two hours and hope you have better luck.

Use dubloons, a form of Neopian currency, to have your pet trained at the Academy on Krawk Island. The more often your Neopet receives training, the more often it will be able to level up. This method of leveling up is effective for Neopets level forty and under.

Use codestones, another form of Neopian currency, to have your pet trained at the Training School on Mystery Island. Training your pet at the Training School on Mystery Island is effective for Neopets level 250 and under.

Complete Kitchen Quests. After you have completed your Kitchen Quest you may be awarded a level up for your Neopet. Be aware that occasionally you may be rewarded items instead of a level up.

Obtain the "Secret Lab Ray". Go around to each of the labs on Neopia and collect the nine lab map pieces. Once you have collected all the lab map pieces you will be awarded with the "Secret Lab Ray." Use the "Secret Lab Ray" to manipulate your Neopet's gender, color, species, stats and level. This can be done once a day to raise your Neopet's level.

Tips & Warnings
If you want to raise the level of your Neopet Petpet you can compete in the Petpet Battledome. If you win the battle you will be awarded a level up for your Neopet Petpet.
Don't count on receiving a level up for your Neopet every time you complete a quest. Sometimes you will be rewarded with items and other equipment instead of a level up.

You could also visit Count Von Roo at midnight each night (Neopian Standard Time) to gain one level (or two if you're lucky), but there's a chance that your pet would lose a level if the Count's dice roll is higher than yours.
