How to Make Money on Neopets

Neopets is an online virtual world that's centered around user-created characters called pets. Members, along with their online pets, can play games or go on quests to earn the Neopian currency called Neopoints. Neopoints can then be spent in the Neopian Plaza, Neopian Bazaar or invested in the Neopian stock market.

Instructions

    • 1

Play games. Playing games on the Neopets website can earn you varying amounts of money, depending on how good you are at the games. Some easy games that give out decent amounts of Neopoints are the Faerie Crossword, Meerca Chase, PetPet Rescue, Extreme Herder, Cliffhanger and Sponsor Games. Playing these games regularly can make you up to 7,500 Neopoints a day.

    • 2

Invest in the Neopian stock market. You can purchase up to 1000 shares per day of any Neopian stock by clicking the "Buy" button, located at the top of any Neopian stock market page. Sit back and wait for your stocks to make a profit.

    • 3

Neglect your Neopet for a day. If you do not log into your Neopets account for 24 hours, the game will give you extra Neopoints for free. However, there may be in-game consequences for neglecting your Neopet too often.

    • 4

Open your Neopets shop. Buy items at a low price and then turn around and sell them for a slightly higher price to make extra Neopoints. You should, however, resist the temptation to grossly overcharge for your items. You may find one or two new members that don't know the worth of items and are willing to pay much more than the going rate, but if you keep doing business that way, your shop may become unpopular.

    • 5

Go to the "Freebies" section of the Neopets website. Once a month, you can receive 2,000 Neopoints and get some free food there.

Tips & Warnings

  • You can get the latest information on the worth of an item by visiting the Shop Wizard or Auction Genie.

  • Just like investing in the actual stock market, investing in the Neopian stock market can be risky. Yes, you may make quite a bit of money, but you also may lose some in the process. Invest at your own risk!
