Difficulty: Moderately Challenging
Instructions

Things You'll Need:

  • Yourself
  • Wavemaster or kick bag
  • Knowledge of basic kicks
  1. Step 1

First advanced kick is the flying side kick. Jog a few steps, push off the back leg jumping straight up toward your target, pull the back leg into your body, and perform the side kick with the front leg striking with the heel.

  2. Step 2

The second kick is a jumping roundhouse kick. Assume a front stance or regular defensive stance. Pull both feet together, jump straight up and perform a roundhouse kick by throwing the back leg toward the front and kicking. See image.

  3. Step 3

Next kick is a spinning hook kick. You will do this by getting in another defensive or front stance. Spin around and using the back leg hook your foot around to the front striking with the heel. This kick is very dangerous so practice with caution!!

  4. Step 4

The 4th kick is a jump spin hook kick. It is the same as the spin hook kick but with a jump. Assume a front stance again, pull feet together, jump straight up, spin, and perform a hook kick with the back foot.

  5. Step 5

The last but not least advanced kick is the tornado kick. This kick is probably the most advanced here. This kick is done by getting in a defensive stance, bring the back leg around to the front starting to spin. Keep spinning and jump up bringing the leg that was orignally in the front to begin with around your body and kick with the back leg. See image for greater explanation.
