How to make cucumbers in sour cream

Difficulty: Easy
Instructions

Things You'll Need:

  • 1/2 cup sour cream
  • 3 tablespoons white vinegar
  • 1 small sweet onion, thinly sliced into separated rings
  • 1 tablespoon sugar
  • pepper to taste
  • 4 medium cucumbers thinly sliced
  1. Step 1

Garden vegetables are growing and we will begin to look for uses for them. We add them to salads and many of or other dishes but we are always looking for new ways to use them and to incorporate them into our meals. This is a cool refreshing recipe. First you will need to wash your cucumbers and then slice them into about one half inch thick slices.

  2. Step 2

Once your cucumbers are sliced set them to the side. You will now need to thinly slice your onion. Then after they are sliced separate them into rings. In a serving bowl you will need to combine the sour cream, sugar, pepper, and white vinegar. Mix this very well until all ingredients are combined.

  3. Step 3

You will now need to stir the cucumbers and onions into the sour cream mixture. Stir until all the cucumbers and onions are coated. You will now need to cover the bowl tightly and refrigerate for four hours at least. Remove from the refrigerator when you are ready to serve. Refrigerate all leftovers immediately.
