You know how it goes, you stay up partying too late on Sunday night. Or maybe you watched Marley or some other sad movie and cried for an hour. Whatever the reason, you just got out of bed and one look in the mirror made you want crawl right back in. Are those your blood shot eyes?         First you should think about prevention. If you drink try not to overdo it. Drink as much water as you can stand to help keep you hydrated. Try to get home early enough to get plenty of sleep. Try propping the end of your bed up a few inches to help fluids drain. If you have allergies take an antihistamine before going to bed.

        Getting up and moving around is the best thing you can do to get fluid draining as it should. So get up early and move briskly, get in a workout if you have time.

        While you wait for the shower to heat up, use the ring finger of your hand to dab hemorrhoid cream under your eyes. I know it sounds odd, but many of us keep a tube for just this purpose. Dab gently, so you don't pull the skin, then get in the shower. By the time you come out you should see a marked reduction in puffiness. Gently remove cream, soothe on a good moisturizer and apply makeup

        Dip chamomile tea bags into water and refrigerate. Pull out and place over your eyes when you need them.
