How to make cheesy garlic bread

Difficulty: Easy
Instructions

Things You'll Need:

  • 1 1/2 cup mayonnaise
  • 1 cup shredded sharp cheddar cheese
  • 1 cup thinly sliced green onions with tops
  • 3 cloves of garlic, minced
  • 1 loaf of French bread, halved lengthwise
  • 1/3 cup minced fresh parsley
  • paprika, optional
  1. Step 1

When you have a spaghetti dinner you love to have garlic bread. Why not make it at home. You will need a loaf of French bread. You will need to cut these lengthwise. Then sit to the side. In a medium sized mixing bowl you will mix the mayonnaise, cheese, onions, and garlic. So that you do not have to minced the garlic yourself there are jars sold at the store already minced.

  2. Step 2

Now you will spread the garlic mixture over both halves of the bread. Then you will sprinkle with the parsley and with paprika if you choose. Wrap each half in foil and refrigerate for one to two hours or freeze. Unwrap when ready to use and place on a baking sheet. You can leave the frozen loaf in the freezer for about two weeks.

  3. Step 3

You will need to preheat your oven at 400 degrees. When the oven is at 400 degrees for 8 to 10 minutes. If it frozen it will need to bake for 20 to 25 minutes. You will bake until it is puffed but not until it is brown. Then you will cut the bread into slices. Now it is time to enjoy.
