How to Remove Cranberry Stains

Carpet Stains

Mix one cup of cold water with one teaspoon of dishwashing liquid.

Dip a clean, white cloth into the solution and blot the stain with the cloth. Keep blotting the stain until the juice is absorbed and the stain is gone. If the stain does not go away continue to the next step.

Mix one tablespoon of ammonia with two cups of hot water.

Blot the stain repeatedly with a clean, white cloth until the stain is gone.
Upholstry Stains

Mix one teaspoon of white vinegar with half a cup of rubbing alcohol.

Blot the stain with a clean, white cloth.

Rub the stain with the cloth if the blotting is not effective.

Soak another clean, white cloth in cold water and wring it out.

Blot the area with the cold, wet cloth to soak up any alcohol left behind.
Fabric Stains

Rinse the stain with cold water for about one minute.

Mix together one tablespoon of white vinegar, one teaspoon of liquid laundry detergent and one quart of cold water.

Soak the fabric in the solution for 15 minutes.

Rinse the fabric again with cold water for about 30 seconds.

Blot the stain with a white cloth and rubbing alcohol if the stain remains.

Tips & Warnings
Do not mix bleach with ammonia. This will result in very hazardous fumes.
