Instructions

Things You'll Need:

  • Craft-foam sheets Scissors Glitter glue Sequins Craft-foam markers Hole punch Yarn Ruler
  1. Step 1

Cut a 2-inch by 7-inch rectangle from the craft foam sheets. Round the corners if desired, or leave them pointed.

  2. Step 2

Punch a hole in one short side of the rectangle. Place the hole in the center of the short side, approximately one inch from the edge.

  3. Step 3

Decorate the rectangle in any way desired. Use the special craft foam markers or use the glitter glue to create designs, to write words, or to color in areas of the rectangle. Add sequins to the areas of glitter glue for added decoration. Allow the decorations to dry completely before proceeding.

  4. Step 4

Cut two 6-inch lengths of yarn for each bookmark. Hold the two lengths of yarn together and fold them in half.

  5. Step 5

Insert the folded yarn through the hole in the bookmark. Push the fold through the hole so that it extends approximately one inch. Take the ends of the yarn and pass them through the folded yarn loop. Pull the ends of the yarn to finish attaching the yarn lengths to the bookmark.
