Red clover (Trifolium pratense) is a perennial flower that grows wild in fields and is beneficial to animals and people alike. if animals eat too much of it, they can become infertile. Red Clover is a source of calcium, chromium, potassium, vitamin C and magnesium. It is also rich in isoflavones. If you are taking medications, check with your doctor before using red clover.

  1. Step 1

    Gout is a very painful rheumatic disease in which deposits of needle-like crystals of uric acid settle in connective tissues and joints. Other forms of arthritis are also helped by red clover. Cleaning the blood is key.

  2. Step 2

    Respiratory problems have been treated with red clover for centuries in traditional Chinese medicine. Red clover has also been used as a powerful blood purifier.

  3. Step 3

    Red clover is a natural diuretic and can assist with water retention and edema. Ridding the body of excess water can lead to weight loss.

    Red clover isoflavones can help prevent or treat osteoporosis, arthritis and fibromyalgia.
