How to Mix A Strawberry Daiquiri Drink
This tasty drink is a hit in summer while lazing by the pool in the heat of the day. The combination of ice and fruit makes this drink deceptive; the rum still has a kick. If you're serving your family, make a few without the rum for the kids to enjoy. Use fresh or frozen strawberries, or use another fruit that's in season, such as raspberries, when mixing up this drink. Does this Spark an idea?
Things You'll Need
- Blender
- 1/2 ounce strawberry liqueur
- 1 ounce white rum
- Lemon juice
- 1 teaspoon powdered sugar
- 1 ounce strawberries
- Ice

Add strawberry liqueur, white rum, powdered sugar and strawberries to the blender.

Squeeze the juice from half of a lemon into the mixture.

Add five to six cubes of ice to the blender.

Blend the ingredients together until smooth.

Pour the mixture into a cocktail glass. Garnish the glass with a lemon slice, strawberry or both.

Thus recipe makes one strawberry daiquiri drink. Make several at one time by multiplying the proportions.
As an alternative, replace the white rum with 1 1/4 ounces of spiced rum, replace the lemon juice with 1 3/4 ounces of sweet and sour mix and add 3 ounces of frozen strawberries.
Don't add ice if you use frozen strawberries.
