Instructions

Things You'll Need:

  • Internet
  1. Step 1

Visit Shephersguide.com. Their online directory has been up and running since 2003, and allows visitors to search by area first, then select a particular category such as attorneys, assisted living facilities, house cleaning companies, and of course, churches and schools. Listings are available for large metropolitan areas throughout the US and Canada.

  2. Step 2

In Southern California, the Christian Business & Professional Directory is a great resource for finding local Christian businesses. Use their online search at www.cbpd.com for ares including Orange County, LA County, Inland Empire and the San Fernando Valley. FREE print versions of their directories are available to order.

  3. Step 3

The Christian Business Directory has online directories for more than 25 areas located in the Pacific Northwest, Southwest and Midwest regions, including Las Vegas, Tacoma, Tucson, Topeka, Evansville and Milwaukee. According to their FAQS, if a consumer has an issue with a business advertising in their directory, they will contact the business to discuss.

  4. Step 4

I Buy Only Christian Owned is an online directory that allows visitors to search by service category only, but their listings include businesses across the U.S. Their website is located at www.iBOCO.org

iBOCO.org also features news and events in the NY area.

  5. Step 5

Additional directories are available online for smaller areas. Use Google or an alternative search engine and search for 'christian yellow pages' or 'christian business directory' followed by your city or state.

  6. Step 6

Christian bookstores often are a drop off site for Christian newsletters, directories and newspapers which feature local businesses and professional services. Church member directories are another great resource and many of them are now uploading their directories to their website. Check with friends and family members for additional directories and referrals.

Tips & Warnings
  • If you are a Christian business or Professional, be sure to visit these directories and add your own site or listing!
  • Many of the directory listings include website links that can connect you with other Christian businesses beyond your local area.
