1
Drink lots of water. Your skin will stay hydrated and your complexion will get clearer every day because water cleanses your skin and helps your body discard impurities.
-
2
Wash your face at least three times a day and whenever you're exposed to dirt. Use a gentle face wash suited to your skin type (dry, normal, oily) as opposed to harsh soaps. Washing will remove dirt and unclog your pores.

3
Buy a good-quality moisturizer suited to your skin -- ask a dermatologist for a recommendation. Moisturize your skin every time you wash it.
-
4
Give your face steam once a week. Bring a few cups of water to a boil in a small pot. As it is boiling, carefully remove it from the stove and place it in front of you. Bring your face close to the pot and throw a towel over your head and the around the pot. The steam will remove any dirt or makeup in your pores, unclogging them. Exfoliate with a mild face scrub suited to your skin type -- dry, oily, normal or sensitive.

Add omega3 fatty acids to your diet. Omega3 fatty acids are instrumental in keeping your skin healthy. Not only do they keep your skin soft and smooth, they reduce inflammatory skin problems like acne and eczema. The best source for omega3 fatty acids is fatty fish such as salmon, tuna, trout and herring.

Apply a face mask to your skin once or twice a week. Applying it too often will dry out your skin and remove its natural oils. Make a natural mask by mixing two egg whites and two tablespoons of yogurt or buy a face mask more suited to your skin from a beauty or drug store. Apply it with your fingers. It might be messy so wear a T-shirt you don't care about getting dirty. Let it dry for 10 to 15 minutes and wash it off with cool water.
