How to Clean DVD scratches with Banana

We are now in an era of the new DVD world and it's quickly changing. DVD's are known to get scratched if you do not protect them when handling them and returning them to their prospective case each time. There's simple method's that you can use without throwing away your newly purchased or favorite dvd.

Difficulty: Easy
Instructions

Things You'll Need:

  • DVD
  • Soft Cloth or Paper Towel
  • Ripe Banana
  • Water or Alcohol
  1. Step 1

    First, identify the dvd that has been scratched or is skipping when inserted into the dvd player.

    Next, get a ripe banana from your kitchen.

    Peel and eat the banana for your daily fruit intake and to get that boost of Potassium in your system. Don't throw away the peel.

  4. Step 4

    Take the DVD and turn it over on it's back side. Take your banana peel and rub it lightly all around the back of the DVD, but not in a circular motion. It's best to wipe from the inside out in a straight motion. You will begin to see a slight haze.

  5. Step 5
    Soft Cloth or Paper Towels

    Finally, get a soft napkin and wet it just a little bit. Wipe the film off of the banana that's on the DVD.

    Put the DVD in your player and it should play without skipping. If this doesn't work try the steps again and rub just a little more banana peel on the dvd this time.
