Casino chips can be located at a blackjack table, a poker room in a casino or playing cards at home with friends. Shuffling the casino chips you have bought or won can be a way to intimidate opponents or impress your friends. Shuffling casino chips is different than shuffling cards as you only use one hand. By knowing the proper method and putting in the time, you can learn how to shuffle casino chips.

Difficulty: Moderately Easy
Instructions
  1. Step 1

Start by making two stacks of chips. The stacks should be equal.

  2. Step 2

Put the chips next to one another. The sets of chips must be touching.

  3. Step 3

Place your hand around the two stacks. When you do this, your thumb should be on the right side of the right stack or the left side of the left stack (depending on which hand you are using). Your ring and middle finger should then be on the far side of the opposite stack of casino chips. Position your index finger in the middle of the stacks at the point where the two touch.

  4. Step 4

Use your thumb, middle finger and ring finger to push the stacks together and upward at the same time. Doing so will put the stacks into shuffling position.

  5. Step 5

Guide the stacks into one with your index finger and thumb. Depending on how the chips overlap in the previous step, you might need to place your thumb opposite your index finger to push the stacks into one.

  6. Step 6

Separate the single stack and start the process over to continue shuffling the chips.
