Push-ups are a great way to work your muscles. If you use good technique, they become even more beneficial to your body. There is a device called "Perfect Pushup" that helps you do the perfect push-up. This simple device consists of two handles that are attached to rotating discs. Using handles for push-ups causes less stress on your wrists, while the rotating discs require you to use more muscles. You can learn how to use Perfect Pushup in just a few relatively easy steps.

Instructions

Things You'll Need:

  • Perfect Pushup handles
  1. Step 1

Place the two Perfect Pushup pieces on the ground or floor, shoulder width apart. The handles should be parallel with your body. Your wrists should not be twisted when starting the push-ups.

  2. Step 2

Grab the handles and get in the push-up position. You should be supporting most of your weight with your arms, while balancing your body with your toes. Make sure your back and legs are straight.

  3. Step 3

Lower your body until your elbows are at a 90-degree angle. As you lower your body, turn the handles inward until they are lined up. The Perfect Pushup handles should line up at the moment you reach the bottom of the push-up. It may take several attempts before you get it timed correctly.

  4. Step 4

Raise yourself back up. As you go up, twist the handles back into the starting position. This should also be timed so that the handles return to the correct position just as you finish the push-up.

  5. Step 5

Do three sets of push-ups every day. The number of push-ups you should do depends on your strength level. Try doing as many push-ups as you can for each set.

Tips & Warnings
  • You can adjust the distance between the handles to work different muscles. Having them close together will work your chest muscles while spreading the handles apart will work your back and shoulders.
