Instructions

    • 1

Wedge a flat pry bar under the upper right tile situated above the tile you're replacing.

    • 2

Apply firm pressure until the tile lifts up. Leave the pry bar there to keep the tile raised.

    • 3

Wedge a second flat pry bar under the tile to the left of the tile you're replacing. Leave this pry bar in place as well.

    • 4

Slide the tile out. If it is nailed down, remove the nail first with a hammer. Slide the two pry bars in further if there is not enough space to pull out the tile.

    • 5

Slide the new tile into the old tile's spot. Insert a new nail if needed. Remove the two pry bars so the tiles fall back into place. They will hold the new tile firmly in place.
