How to Install Java J2SDK
Java is a popular Internet add-on offered by Sun Microsystems. Web designers use it to create applications for the Internet; web browsers use it to view specialized content, videos and graphics. Java J2SDK (short for Java Software Development Kit) is intended for designing web content.

Visit the Sun download site listed in the Resources section.

Select your computer's platform (operating system), leave the language as "Multi-language" (it is the only option) and check that you agree to the license agreement.

Click "Continue."

Look under "Available Files" for "j2sdk-1_4_2_19-windows-i586-p.exe."

Click on the link and on "Save File" when prompted.

Double click the newly downloaded file. It will appear in either a "Downloads" pop-up window or as an icon on the desktop.

Click "OK" and then "Run" when prompted.

Check that you accept the license agreement and click "Next." You will not be allowed to install the software without accepting the agreement.

Click "Next" and then "Install." The software will begin installation.

Click "Finish" when informed of the installation being complete.
