How to Make a Ben 10 Cake
Are you looking to bake a birthday cake for your little Ben 10 fan? You probably want it to be more than just a regular cake with a Ben 10 figurine stuck in it, but maybe you are afraid that you won't be able to draw him well enough. By following these steps, you can trace a picture of Ben 10 and create a great-looking cake that your child will love. Does this Spark an idea?
Things You'll Need
- Picture of Ben 10
- Pastry bag with round and star tips
- Icing (black and the colors in the Ben 10 picture)
- Non-toxic crayon (any color)
- Rice paper
Instructions

1
Spread a thin layer of icing on the cake. Put the cake in the freezer for 10 minutes. This is called a "crumb coat" and it makes the cake easier to frost.
-
2
While the cake is in the freezer, find and print out a picture of Ben 10. Remember, this is the picture that you will be using on the cake, so if you are a beginner, the less detailed the picture is, the better. Size the picture to fit the top of your cake.

3
Lay the picture under the rice paper. Trace the picture onto the rice paper with the nontoxic crayon. Check to make sure that you did not miss any part of the picture.
-
4
Cut around the traced picture and lay it on top of the cake where you want the picture to be. The rice paper will dissolve into the frosting and will not affect the taste.
-
5
Trace the crayon outline with the black icing in the pastry bag using the round tip.
-
6
Fill in the Ben 10 picture using the star tip on the pastry bag. Use icing colors that match the picture. Pipe a border around the cake for an added decorative touch.
