Instructions

Things You'll Need:

  • scissors double sided foam mounting tape (Scotch is a great brand) double sided craft tape (Scrapbook Adhesives) double sided fashion tape (Hollywood Fashion Tape) hammer

    Photos and Scrapbooking

  1. Step 1

Cut a piece of double sided tape the length of one of the edges of your photo. Holding your tape taut, place the tape, sticky side down, onto the edge of the photo.

  2. Step 2

Repeat step 1 and cover all the edges of your photo with a piece of double sided tape. For example, if your photo was 5 in. by 7 in. you would cut two 5 in. and two 7 in. pieces of tape and line your paper.

  3. Step 3

Going around each edge, carefully peel back the non-adhesive side of each piece of tape.

  4. Step 4

Now that your photo is lined with adhesive, flip it over and place it in the position of your choice in your photo book. Use a ruler or flat object, to avoid fingerprints, and run it over your photo to insure that the adhesive sticks properly.

  5. Fix Your Fashion

  6. Step 1

Fashion tape can be great for preventing wardrobe malfunctions. Say, for example, you are wearing a plunging neckline and want to insure your top stays in place. Keep it where it goes with this tape. It's also specially formulated for clothing so no residue will be left behind on you or your clothes. Start by cutting a piece of tape depending on the area of cloth you are adhering to your skin.

  7. Step 2

Holding cloth taut, gently place the adhesive tape on top and smooth lightly with your finger.

  8. Step 3

Make sure skin is clean and dry before attaching your clothing to it. Peel back the non-adhesive paper and gently place the taped-cloth onto skin, before pressing down, make sure your clothing is in the desired position.

  9. Step 4

Once in place, smooth down the cloth against your skin to adhere it securely and keep your style in place.

  10. Mounting Decor

  11. Step 1

Using double sided foam mounting tape, measure the length and width of the object you are mounting and cut 1 ½ to 2 in. pieces of tape accordingly. For example, if you are mounting a 16 in. by 26 in. painting, you will want to cut about 5 pieces for your 16 in. edge and 7 pieces for your 26 in. edge.

  12. Step 2

Peel back one side of the tape and attach your pieces around the edge of the back of your frame. You'll want to attach them so that they make a dotted line going around your frame.

  13. Step 3

Once you have placed your pieces, peel back the non-adhesive paper.

  14. Step 4

Hold up your frame and position it against a clean wall. Once it's in the desired position press your frame onto the wall.

  15. Step 5

Using a hammer, gently hammer around the frame to secure your decor onto the wall.
