Instructions

  1. How to use an air popper

    • 1

Gather all of your supplies. Air poppers can be purchased at many major stores and online. Popcorn for air poppers can be found along side the microwave popcorn at your local grocery store. Toppings for the popcorn, such as flavored salt and oils, can be found there as well. You will need a large bowl to catch the popcorn as it leaves the air popper.

    • 2

Measure your popcorn. Most models come with the measuring cup located on the top of the air popper. Check your model's instruction manual for the exact amount of kernels you will need and pour them into the air popper.

    • 3

Replace the measuring cup. You can put some butter or margarine into the cup to melt while the popcorn is popping if you want buttered popcorn.

    • 4

Place a bowl in front of the air popper to catch the popcorn as it is being popped.

    • 5

Turn on your air popper. Many units will turn on automatically when you plug them in.

    • 6

Stay close to the air popper while it is on and watch the bowl to make sure that it does not overflow.

    • 7

Turn off the air popper when all of the kernels are popped. If you wish, salt and flavor your popcorn with your favorite topping.

    • 8

Clean out any unpopped kernels left in the popper and wipe it down with a damp cloth. If you put butter in the measuring cup, wash it with warm soapy water.

Tips & Warnings

  • Never leave the popper unattended, especially, if there are small children present.
