Job sites like Hotjobs from yahoo, or even craigs list, are good places to start when looking for part time jobs.

   Make your computer skills make money.

   If you are a skilled computer tech "geek" like character, why not start a small part time business repairing computers. Everybody has a PC and sooner or later they have a problem or virus that requires that special skill you may have. You can charge $30 per hour or more.

   Use your maternal skills for making money as a nanny or babyitter.

   Babysitting or becoming a nanny or live-in nanny is also a great way to make money. If you have experience and are mature, you can market yourself well just by word of mouth or even using bulletin boards in public places. You can also put free posts for your services on Crag's List. If you really want to boost your selling power, take a CPR and first aid course at the Red Cross. They also offer a certificate class for babysitting. Hourly rate can exceed $12 per hour.
