Use Google Calendar to Sync With All of Your Computers and Mobile Devices

Google calendar is a great tool to keep your appointments on all of your computers and your blackberry.
If you must make and keep appointments in your day to day life google calendar is for you, it allows you to make an appointment on your blackberry and sync it to any of your computers using outlook.

Difficulty: Moderately Easy
Instructions
  1. Step 1

Get a Gmail google account and go to google calendar register to use google calendar with your Gmail account. This will be the main calendar that all appointments will sync to and from.

  2. Step 2

Download the calendar client for your email program, it works with outlook 2003 and 2007 only right now. Install it to your computers and setup the sync options.

  3. Step 3

Download the mobile sync client to your mobile phone, it works on Blackberry and iPhone. Once again go through the sync setup and you are all set to sync your appointments.

  4. Step 4

Schedule an appointment on any device and perform a manual sync. Open your outlook and perform a manual sync / send and receive. Look at your appointments and you will see they are mirrored on all devices. This is a huge financial savings over purchasing an Exchange server.
