How to Set iPhone Volume Limits

If you are a parent of an iPhone user and have been frustrated by the volume of the music that seems to come out of those great little earphones, great news! You can set volume limits. Not only that, but you can also set a security code so you are the only one who can change them. Now you don't have to worry about noise damage to your child's ears or your own!

Instructions

1. Click the Settings icon on the iPhone's home screen.

2. Select iPod from the list.

3. Select Volume Limit and slide the volume bar to your desired level.

4. Press the home button to return to the home page if you're done, or click "Lock Volume Limit" to enter a four-digit volume limit code. Enter it again to confirm when prompted.

Tips & Warnings

• To remove the security code simply go back to the Volume Limit screen, click "Unlock Volume Limit" and enter your code.
