Properly taking off eye make-up can be key to avoiding wrinkles in older age. The skin around your eyes is delicate and too much rubbing or pulling of the skin can cause wrinkles. Here are a few steps on how to correctly take off eye make-up.

Difficulty: Easy
Instructions

Things You'll Need:

  • Eye make-up remover
  • cloth face towel
  • cotton balls
  1. Step 1

First, make sure your towel is damp. Run it under the water and ring it out. Put some eye makeup remover onto your wash cloth. Take the cloth and wipe your eyelid in a downwards motion. To this a couple times until the vast majority of make-up is removed from the eyelid.

  2. Step 2

Now, take the corner of the towel and wipe underneath your eyelid towards the center of your face. Do not wipe your eye from the middle outwards because it pulls the skin and causes wrinkles.

  3. Step 3

Don't press to hard on the skin around your eyes and be careful not to pull the skin to much. Also, try to use a softer cloth instead of one with ruff material to avoid scratching the skin. Another way to take make-up off is with cotton balls.

Tips & Warnings
