Things You'll Need:
- Good reading and listening skills
-
Step 1
First of all don't get a hard disk mp3 player. They'll work fine for a while, but since the hard disk spins and has moveable parts, it will wear the internal battery down to an unusable state in like 6 months to a year, depending on how much you use it.
-
Step 2
Second, get one with a flash drive . Flash drives are more stable, and have no moving parts. You'll rarely ever have to replace an internal battery with a flash drive mp3 player. Also the battery takes longer to run down with one of these, because again there are no moving parts with flash drives.
-
Step 3
Third, get one with an expandable sd or micro sd slot so if you use up all the disk space that's already built into the player, you can just get an additional sd card to put in the slot for additional space instead of having to delete songs on the drive. Or worse, have to buy a whole other mp3 player to house additional storage.
-
Step 4
Last , Read reviews on popular shopping sites like amazon.com,walmart.com,etc of the particular model you want to get, and make sure there isn't to many negative complaints on it. You'll always find a negative complaint on any product because nothing' s perfect. You just want to make sure the negative ones don't outweigh the positive ones. I would personally recommend the SanDisk Sansa e280 model or something similar to that one. I've had it for 15 months now, without a hiccup. It's beautiful thing.
