How to change date stamp in Word 2007

Updated a word document but the date stamp didn't change? I will show you how to easily do this.

Instructions

Things You'll Need:

  • Microsoft Word 2007
  1. Step 1

    Open your document in Microsoft Word, click on the footer at the bottom of the page. This will take you to the "design" tab and allow you make the changes. You can also edit any other options about the footer and header from this tab.

  2. Step 2

    Highlight the date and enter the date you want to change it to, if it was changed today then use today's date if it was the 10th of May then type in May 10th. Press enter and it will change the date on every page of the document.

  3. Step 3

    The date on the document is now changed.

  4. Step 4

    Scroll through the successive pages and you should find all the dates have been changed to the one you typed in. If you are happy with the changes you have made then hit the "Close Header" in the upper right hand corner. This saves all the changes and you are done!
