The first thing you need to do to get yourself in the gym is find an accountability partner. What this means is find someone you know who can keep tabs on you and tell them to hold you accountable to going to the gym. Next to give yourself motivation find a weight loss goal or weight gain goal, and make a reward at the end of the process for yourself. Or have your significant other come up with a reward like a vacation you always wanted to go on for motivation.

Now you need to buy the outfit you want to see yourself in and hang it bye the door so you can see it every day. You also need to cut out pictures of the way you want yourself to look and place them all over your house and car so you see it everyday.

Next is the easy part find a small mp3 player or ipod and place your favorite songs on it, to get you in a mood to work out. Music helps you stop thinking about how tired you are or how bad your muscles ache during your workout. You can also motivate yourself even more by purchasing a one month gym membership. If you spent the money on the membership you will be motivated to go if you don't like wasting money as well. Now once you start going and get a routine you will love going to the gym.
