Windows XP is a line of operating systems manufactured by Microsoft that can be used on personal computers. Windows XP was first released in October, 2001, and its predecessor was Windows 2000 Professional and Windows Me. Windows Vista replaced Windows XP in early 2007. Changing the domain password is a simple process, but you need to be logged in as a network administrator to change a domain password.

Difficulty: Easy
Instructions
  1. Step 1

Click "Start" in the bottom left corner of your computer screen. Click on "Control Panel" then scroll down and click on "User Accounts."

  2. Step 2

Click on the tab titled "Advanced" then click "Manage Passwords," if your computer is joined to a domain.
Click on your account name, then click on "Manage my network passwords," if your computer is not joined to a domain.

  3. Step 3

Click on the entry in the domain where you want to change the password, then click "Properties." Click "Change" then enter the necessary information, including the new password.
