Instructions

    • 1

Cut a piece of paper to the desired tag's size.

    • 2

Use the marker to write any relevant information on your tag, such as name, address or anything else you need.

    • 3

Lay a sheet of contact paper on a flat surface, paper-backing side up. The sheet of contact paper should be about one inch larger than the tag on all sides

    • 4

Remove the paper backing sheet and lay your ID tag paper on top of it.

    • 5

Remove the backing on another sheet of contact paper, the same size as the first, on the other side of the paper ID tag, so as to sandwich the paper in between the sticky sides of the contact paper sheets.

    • 6

Press down on the contact paper to make a good seal.

    • 7

Use the hole punch to make a hole in the overhanging contact paper, on whatever side you'd like to use to attach your tag to your suitcase.

    • 8

Trim the contact paper with the scissors. Stay at least three millimeters away from the paper on all sides and leave a 1/4 inch margin around your punched hole.

    • 9

Use the string to attach your tag to your suitcase, backpack or other item.

Tips & Warnings

  • You may add more layers of contact paper for greater durability. Three-ring-binder reinforcements can also add durability to your punched hole.
