Maid caddies make cleaning your home more efficient. They not only store all your current cleaning products and tools, but also have handles to make transporting them around the house easier. Often, cleaning products spill and leave stains. In addition, your wet rags and sponges sometimes leave a sticky residue once they dry. Because of this, it is important to take a few minutes every few months to clean your maid caddy.

Instructions

Things You'll Need:

  • Dish soap Nylon scrub pad Nylon scrub brush
  1. Step 1

Soak your maid caddy in warm soapy water for 30 minutes. This will loosen any dried-up cleaners and stuck-on dirt and grime.

  2. Step 2

Use a nylon scrub pad to scrub away the stains and dirt. Use a nylon scrub brush or toothbrush to get into the corners. Be sure to clean the handle as well.

  3. Step 3

Rinse thoroughly with warm water. Turn it upside down to dry on your drying rack or on a towel. Before putting your clean products and tools back into your maid caddy, be sure they are clean, dry, and the lids are on tight.
