How to Reboot HP Computers
Rebooting a computer is the act of restarting the operating system on the computer. This is usually done by powering off the computer and then powering it back on, or by using a command from within the system that will reboot the system. Reboot an HP computer running Windows XP or Vista by going to the Windows Desktop and clicking on "Start."

Click on the small arrow pointing to the right located in the lower left of the "Start" menu. Select "Restart" and your computer will reboot.

Reboot any HP computer by pushing the power button on the computer and turning it off. Wait a few seconds until the computer has completely shut down, and then turn it back on. The system will reboot.
