In skateboarding, the half cab flip is a trick that combines both the half cab trick and the kick flip trick. You will need to first master these latter two tricks before attempting to learn and perfect the half cab flip.

Difficulty: Moderate
Instructions
  1. Step 1

Put your back foot on the tip of the tail of the skateboard. Place your front foot just behind the front bolts of the board, close to the center with your heel hanging off the board.

  2. Step 2

Pop the tail of the board down against the pavement and jump in the air. Rotate your shoulders and feet to begin turning 180 degrees in the air with the board.

  3. Step 3

Flick the toe of your front foot while turning in the air to make the board flip. Keep your feet above the board as you are turning and the board is flipping around.

  4. Step 4

Land the trick once the flip is complete and you are turned 180 degrees. Stomp the board back down on the pavement, keeping your knees bent, and your feet on the bolts of the board.
