How to Download Free Ringtones onto a RAZR Commander

One of the biggest cellular providers and manufacturers in the world, Motorola offers easy ringtone downloading access for most phones available on its networks. The Razr Commander is one of the standard flip phones available from Motorola and features full ringtone capacity and capabilities. Motorola, unlike many cellular providers, has offered a way to transfer songs to your Razr Commander easily, using Motorola Phone Tools.

Instructions

1. Connect your Razr to your computer using your Motorola USB cable. Wait for the Motorola Phone Tools application to launch on your desktop.

2. Click "Melody Editor" on the left-hand menu of the Motorola Phone Tools program. Browse your computer's library from the Melody Files window for your desired ringtone song and click on it. Select "Crop" in the lower Selection menu and move the cursors to select a clip of 30 seconds or less for your ringtone (the length allowed by Motorola as ringtones).

3. Select the green check mark in the Selection menu and click "Transfer to your Phone." Type a file name for your new ringtone and select "OK." Your clip will be transferred to your Razr Commander as a free ringtone.
