How to Conjugate Reflexive Verbs
A verb is called reflexive when the object and the subject of the verb are the same. For instance, in "I wash myself", the object "myself" and the subject "I" are referring to the same thing. Therefore, the verb "wash" is reflexive in this case. In the Spanish language, there are several rules for conjugation that must be followed in translating these verbs.

The rules for conjugating reflexive verbs depend on who is doing the action of the verb. Translate and record the appropriate pronoun: "I" is yo, "you" is tu, he/she/it are el/ella/usted, "you all" is vosotros, "we" is nosotros, "they" is ellos/ellas/ustedes.

For each pronoun, there is an accompanying reflexive pronoun that must also be recorded. These special pronouns are determined thusly: "yo" is me, "tu" is te, "el/ella/usted" is se, "nosotros" is nos, "vosotros" is os, "ellos/ellas/ustedes" is se.
